The roots and spirits of various cultures are being kept in dusty, forgotten boxes with audio tapes - not on the cold screen of faceless, virtual globalism. The Lenhart Tapes project is digging through those boxes and twisting sounds of various cultures - traditional and modern, rustic and urban, without any rules or order, by intuition and often chaotically, sometimes exotically bizarre or madly melodic. Like a sound kaleidoscope, it targets the world of accumulated, mass and deformed cultures.
